The route
From South Beach, cross Biscayne Bay on the MacArthur Causeway, take the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836) west, and then head over to SW 8th Street, also called the Tamiami Trail. The city ends quickly out there, and the sawgrass starts right past the western edge of Miami-Dade’s suburbs. Our dock is at 17696 SW 8 St, Miami, FL 33194, inside the Pilot Travel Center at Dade Corners.
Don’t have a car?
Most Miami Beach visitors don’t. Rideshares out to the Everglades are possible, but getting one back can be hard. We offer round-trip hotel pickup with every private airboat tour, included in the price. We collect you anywhere from South Beach to Kendall and bring you back after the tour.
Is it worth the trip?
If you’ve never been on an airboat, yes. Within an hour of Ocean Drive you can be crossing open sawgrass with alligators and wading birds around the boat. It’s a completely different Miami from the beach.
Skip the drive. We pick you up.
